Greek July 2026 pension payments begin for millions of retirees
Payments of July 2026 pensions in Greece start in late June. On Thursday 25 June, the main and supplementary pensions for non‑salaried retirees (about 2.6 million) will be credited, followed by a second tranche on Monday 29 June for salaried retirees (about 1.7 million) and various public‑sector beneficiaries. The e‑EFKA system will disburse a total of roughly €1.38 billion to 2.68 million recipients.
In addition to the regular pensions, an emergency child‑benefit of €150 per dependent child will be paid automatically to eligible families by 30 June, and OPEKA unemployment‑related benefits are scheduled for the end of the month. All funds appear in bank accounts the afternoon before the payment day, allowing early access via ATMs.
These coordinated disbursements aim to provide significant financial support to households ahead of the summer season.
