Greek minors arrested in drug trafficking and fire incidents
Police in Corinth arrested three minors and an 18‑year‑old who headed a criminal group that trafficked cannabis (511 g) and cocaine (27 g) and seized €505 in cash. The drugs were stored by an under‑age associate and sold to two younger participants. Parents of the minors were also detained for neglect.
In Eretria, fire‑safety investigators arrested two children, aged 12 and 13, after they threw firecrackers that ignited a street blaze. Their parents, aged 35 and 42, were taken into custody on charges of failing to supervise their children. The fire service emphasized that most fires stem from human negligence.
