Greece Begins First 2026 Payments to Large Families under Agricultural Household Account

The first disbursement of the Agricultural Household Account (ΛΑΕ‑OPΕΚΑ) was made on Tuesday, 28 July 2026. A total of €1,614,600 was transferred to 2,112 eligible beneficiaries – 1,658 third‑child families and 454 multiple‑child families. Each third‑child beneficiary receives €700, while each multiple‑child beneficiary receives €1,000, with payments credited to the IBANs supplied in their applications.

The application process concluded without exceeding the number of available slots, so no electronic lottery was required. The programme’s budget for 2026 is €2.21 million.
