Greece celebrates 13th Panhellenic School Sports Day

Educational institutions in Greece are observing the 13th Panhellenic and European School Sports Day under the theme ‘Jump towards the Future’. The initiative aims to promote healthy lifestyles, cooperation, and physical activity among students.

At the Afyssos Kindergarten in Kokkinorachi, young students participated in skill courses, obstacle courses, and group games designed to foster teamwork and healthy habits. The program also included educational elements regarding the historical Spartathlon and the legend of Pheidippides to teach perseverance.

Similarly, students from the EPAL Mykonos participated in athletic activities held at a field in Corfu. The event included football and basketball matches, involving both students and teachers to emphasize the importance of discipline, respect, and community within the school environment.
