Greece concludes school year for kindergartens and primary schools

On Monday 15 June 2026 the academic year officially ended for kindergartens and primary schools across Greece.

The same day marked the final promotion and graduation examinations for secondary schools (gymnasia), with results to be issued by 18 June 2026.

Candidates for the Technical University of Athens' Physical Education and Sports Science (TEFAA) programmes began a health‑examination and practical‑testing period that runs until 25 June 2026. At the same time, EPAL candidates sat specialty exams in Cooling‑Air‑Conditioning Systems, Aircraft Engines, and Central Heating Design.

Special subject examinations start on 16 June 2026, with English as the first tested subject.
