Greece's DYPA free childcare enrollment deadline ends July 13

Parents in Greece have until Monday 13 July 2026 (23:49–23:59) to submit online applications for free places at the Public Employment Service (DYPA) childcare centres for the 2026‑2027 school year. The programme covers 28 centres across Attica and other regions, accepting children aged six months to four years.

Eligibility is limited to parents or guardians who are private‑sector employees with a dependent contract at the deadline, insured under e‑EFKA with contributions to the DYPA unemployment fund, or registered as unemployed for at least three consecutive months. Applicants must provide a 2025 tax‑clearance statement. Applications are made exclusively through the gov.gr portal, following the Education → Registration pathway.

After the deadline, DYPA will publish provisional lists of selected, supplementary and excluded children, and eligible families may file appeals. The programme is co‑financed by the European Social Fund and national resources under the 2021‑2027 ESFA framework.
