e-EFKA announces October 2026 pension payment dates

The Greek social security organization, e-EFKA, has announced the payment schedule for October 2026 pensions. The distribution follows a established rule separating salaried and non-salaried beneficiaries.

On Friday, September 25, 2026, payments will be made to approximately 2.4 million non-salaried individuals. This includes main pensions from former funds OAEE, OGA, and ETAA, as well as all private sector supplementary pensions. Additionally, main pensions for those who joined the e-EFKA system after January 1, 2017, will be processed on this date.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, payments will be issued to approximately 1.7 million salaried beneficiaries. This group includes main pensions from former funds such as IKA-ETAM, various bank funds, OTE, DEH, NAT, ETAT, and ETAP-MME, as well as main and supplementary pensions for public sector employees.

While official payment dates are the 25th and 29th, funds are expected to appear in bank accounts starting the previous evening: Thursday, September 24, for the first group, and Monday, September 28, after 17:00, for the second group.
