Greece expands ‘Tourism for All’ program with higher income limits and new disability support
The Greek Ministry of Tourism has revised the “Tourism for All” scheme for 2026‑2027. The program will run in two phases: the first phase ends on 30 June 2027 and the second starts early 2027, concluding on 31 December 2027. Income thresholds have been lifted – for single adults without children from €19,000 to €21,000, for married couples without children from €31,000 to €33,000, and up to €58,000 for larger families – widening eligibility to more middle‑income households.
Subsidies range from €200 to €600 per stay, with the bulk of funding directed to the off‑season months (October‑April) and to mountain destinations. For the first time, people with a disability‑severity rating of 67 % or higher can apply, regardless of income, and families with children receive an additional €50 per child for the fourth child onward. Applications open in August 2026, and allocation will be made via an electronic lottery using a digital voucher card.
The reforms aim to boost tourism in less‑visited regions, improve accessibility, and reduce bureaucracy through online services.
