Greece expands ‘Tourism for All’ scheme with higher income limits and larger subsidies

The Greek government has launched an expanded “Tourism for All” programme for 2026‑2027, widening eligibility criteria and increasing financial support. Income thresholds rise to €21,000 for single adults, €33,000 for married couples and up to €58,000 for large families; people with a disability rating of 67 % or higher and families with disabled children are now eligible regardless of income.

Subsidies are delivered via a digital voucher card issued through the gov.gr platform, with amounts ranging from €200 to €600 per household depending on the season and family situation. Six‑hundred‑euro vouchers target low‑season travel (October‑April) to boost mountain and off‑peak tourism, while €200‑€400 vouchers apply to the high‑season period. Additional €50 per child is provided for families with four or more children.

Applications open in August and will be processed online or at citizen service centres. The programme runs in two phases: the first until 30 June 2027 and the second until 31 December 2027, with 70 % of the budget earmarked for the low‑season period.
