Greece extends agricultural subsidy application deadline to October 2026
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food have announced an extension for the 2026 Single Application for Support (EAE). The deadline for submitting applications has been moved to October 30, 2026.
New guidelines clarify the responsibilities of both farmers and application submission entities. Farmers are held responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all declared data, including land use, lease agreements, and livestock numbers. They must also maintain original documentation for inspections.
Submission entities must operate under written agreements and formal authorization via myAADE to avoid conflicts of interest. The extension aims to resolve practical issues encountered during the process while maintaining strict controls over declared land areas. Specific timelines for application modifications will determine when advance payments are processed, with different schedules applying to those who submitted earlier versus those using the extended deadline.
