Greece: Harassment reported against singer Giorgos Mazonakis' family

Journalist Tasos Tergiakis has reported ongoing harassment and vandalism targeting the family of the late singer Giorgos Mazonakis. According to reports on the ANT1 program ‘To Proino’, unknown individuals have been throwing stones and shouting insults outside the home of the singer's parents.

In addition to the attacks on the parents' residence, the shop of Dimitris Makriniotis in Glyfada has also been targeted with offensive messages written in spray paint or markers. Tergiakis noted that these incidents appear to stem from public disputes involving the singer, as many individuals are reacting solely to Mazonakis' public statements without considering the family's perspective.

Journalist Giorgos Liagas highlighted the severity of the situation, noting that the parents are currently dealing with serious health issues and undergoing intensive hospital treatments while also grieving the loss of their son.
