Greece hosts seminar on correct completion of 2026 university admissions form
A training seminar on how to correctly fill out the 2026 Mikhanografiko Deltio was held on 15 June at the Maria Kallas Cultural Centre in Meligalas, Greece. Organized by the Megalopolis Skills Development Centre with the municipality of Oichalia, parent associations and Mentor Career, the event aimed to guide students and families through the critical choices surrounding higher‑education and vocational study programmes. The session covered common mistakes, strategic selection of study fields and offered advice on aligning personal interests with labour‑market prospects.
In parallel, Greek authorities are offering a “Parallel Mikhanografiko” that allows candidates to apply for up to 20,000 places in Superior Vocational Training Schools (SAEK). Applicants can submit up to 30 preferences, combining traditional university choices with vocational options. The system will rank candidates automatically based on scores and preferences, with results expected by late July and enrolments scheduled for early September. This parallel route is intended to expand vocational training opportunities for students facing competitive university admissions.
