Greece launches €500 million home renovation subsidy program

The Greek government has released the Implementation Guide for the new co-funded ‘Home Renovation’ call under the 2021-2027 NSRF (ESPA) framework. The program has a total budget of €500 million and is designed to support low-to-middle-income households.

Subsidies cover between 70% and 95% of costs, with a maximum coverage of €36,000 for technical renovation and energy efficiency works. Additionally, households can receive up to €2,500 for supplementary advisory and support services.

The initiative aims to improve living conditions, upgrade older buildings for better energy efficiency, and reduce household energy expenses. It also seeks to return unused properties to the market by incentivizing the rehabilitation of existing building stock.
