Greece launches 'Tourism for All' voucher scheme for 2026‑27
The Greek Ministry of Tourism is introducing the “Tourism for All” programme for 2026‑2027. The scheme runs from 23 May 2026 to 22 June 2027 and will be administered through a digital platform that is expected to open in the first week of August 2026.
Eligible applicants are adult Greek tax residents who filed a 2024 income tax return and meet the income limits – for example, €21,000 for single adults, €33,000 for married couples and higher thresholds for larger families. People with a disability rating of 67 % or more, and families with dependent disabled children, are exempt from income limits. Vouchers range from €200 to €600 depending on the season (high‑season May‑September or low‑season October‑April) and the beneficiary’s category, with additional €50 boosts for each child from the fourth onward.
The aid is delivered via an intangible digital debit card that can be used for accommodation bookings and ferry tickets nationwide. Private contribution is set at 25 % of the cost, except for disabled travelers who pay nothing. Certain islands (e.g., Lemnos, Mytilene, Chios, Kos, Samos, Rhodes) and regions (Northern Euboia, Evros, parts of Thessaly) allow up to 10‑12 free nights. The programme aims to stimulate tourism outside the traditional summer peak and support less‑visited destinations throughout the year.
