Greece launches Tourism for All voucher scheme worth up to €600

The Greek Ministry of Tourism has re‑introduced the “Tourism for All” program for 2026‑2027, offering digital vouchers of €200‑€600 to support domestic travel. The scheme, funded by the National Development Programme, will run until the end of 2027 and will be administered through an online platform that opens after the ministerial decree is published in the Government Gazette.

Eligibility is based on income thresholds (individual income up to €15,000 or household up to €26,000) and, for persons with disabilities, higher subsidies up to €600. Applicants are screened automatically against 2025 tax returns; successful filings are entered into a lottery that separates high‑season and low‑season periods. Seventy percent of the budget is allocated to the low‑season period, with the remainder for the peak season. A second selection round will draw from the list of non‑selected applicants until the budget is exhausted, ensuring broader participation.

Vouchers are issued on a digital card usable only for accommodation payments via NFC‑enabled devices or POS terminals. Detailed criteria, documentation requirements, and card terms will be set out in the forthcoming ministerial decision.
