Greece Ministry of Culture concludes ‘All of Greece One Culture’ program
The Greek Ministry of Culture is concluding its ‘All of Greece One Culture’ program with a final week of artistic events running from August 24 to August 31. The program features eight original productions, including music, theater, and dance, held at various archaeological sites, monuments, and museums across the country.
Scheduled performances are inspired by the theme ‘How beautiful a man is when he is truly a man’ from Menander’s ‘Dyskolos’. Venues for these events include the Necromanteion of Acheron in Preveza, the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, the Ancient Theatre of Samos, the Archaeological Museum of Vathy in Ithaca, the Roman Odeon of Nikopolis, the Archaeological Museum of Arta, the Casa Romana in Kos, and the White Tower of Thessaloniki.
Specific highlights include a dance performance by the Lathos Kinisi group in Preveza, a musical performance by the Oros Ensemble in Thessaloniki, and a theatrical production directed by Vicky Voliotis in Samos. These events are offered free of charge, though reservations are required through the official program website.
