The average monthly household cost of living increased by 5.5% to 1,820 euros compared to 2024.

On the corporate front, ELSTAT reported that the total turnover of Greek businesses in industry, construction, trade, and services reached 447.5 billion euros in 2024, a 6.5% annual increase. Gross value added also saw a significant rise of 11.9%, reaching 114.2 billion euros. The retail and wholesale trade sector remains the largest economic segment, accounting for 37.5% of the total turnover.
