Greece myAGRO platform faces technical scrutiny amid subsidy concerns
The Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has issued clarifications regarding the myAGRO platform for the 2026 Single Application for Support (EAE). The guidelines address electronic and handwritten lease agreements, co-ownership cases, and instances where leases do not appear on the platform. AADE noted that the platform pulls data from Lease Information Statement (DPSM) filings. If a lease is missing, farmers have the option to enter it manually to avoid delays, and attaching physical documents is not required.
However, Independent MP Haris Mamoulakis has raised concerns regarding the platform's functionality, describing it as a potential failure. He submitted a report to the Ministers of National Economy and Finance and Rural Development and Food, warning that technical issues—such as system freezes and difficulties cross-referencing tax IDs (ATAK) with land registry numbers (KAEK)—could jeopardize the October payment deadline for agricultural subsidies. Mamoulakis emphasized that these subsidies are vital income for hundreds of thousands of producers and expressed concern that the system was presented before being fully operational.
