Greece observes World Mental Health Day with symposium and school activities

Various initiatives are being held in Greece to observe World Mental Health Day, focusing on education and public awareness.

In Rhodes, the 2nd Symposium for World Mental Health will take place on October 22 and 23, 2026, at the Evangelismos site under the auspices of the Municipality of Rhodes. The event features interactive experiential games, official ceremonies, and keynote speeches from specialists, including psychologists, child psychiatrists, and representatives from social organizations such as Make-A-Wish Greece and the Rhodes Medical Association.

In Kozani, students at the Leukovrysi Primary School organized an educational event to explore emotions and stress management. Through drawings, crafts, and interactive games, students learned how stress affects the body and mind, emphasizing the importance of mental health care from an early age.
