Greece opens ‘Tourism for All 2026-2027’ voucher applications

The Greek Ministry of Tourism has opened applications for the ‘Tourism for All 2026-2027’ program. Eligible adult tax residents of Greece can apply via the vouchers.gov.gr platform or at Citizen Service Centers (KEP) until August 21, 2026.

The program provides digital vouchers ranging from 200 to 600 euros for accommodation within Greece. To encourage off-season travel, 70% of the budget is allocated to stays between October and April. Beneficiaries will be selected through an electronic lottery.

Income thresholds have been expanded to include more middle-class households. For single individuals without children, the limit is 21,000 euros, while for married couples without children, it is 33,000 euros. For large families, limits increase by 5,000 euros per child. Notably, individuals with a disability of 67% or higher, and families with children with similar disabilities, are exempt from income criteria.

While the Ministry highlights the program as a strategic tool for sustainable tourism, political opposition from PASOK has criticized the delay in implementation, noting that the application platform opened in August compared to February in previous cycles.
