Greece opens payment applications for agricultural and forestry projects
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food have announced the opening of electronic payment applications for various agricultural and forestry projects. These applications are submitted through the Integrated Information System of the Common Agricultural Policy (OPSKAP).
The process covers investments under the 2023-2027 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan, as well as ongoing projects from the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program. Eligible categories include:
• Large-scale public works for land improvement and agricultural infrastructure. • Investments to protect agricultural holdings from natural disasters. • Actions for the prevention and restoration of forest damage caused by fires or other natural phenomena, including the preservation of forest genetic resources.
The administrative control and payment procedures are governed by AADE Governor Giorgos Pitsilis's decision A. 1175/2026. The initiative aims to ensure financial continuity and the seamless completion of investments in the primary sector and natural resource protection.
