Greece OSDE 2026 declarations face major delays

The submission process for the 2026 OSDE agricultural declarations in Greece is facing significant delays. While fines for simple procedural violations have been reduced to one-fifth of their original amounts—now ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 euros instead of 5,000 to 20,000 euros—experts note that these sanctions are not the primary cause of the slowdown.

The main issue stems from technical difficulties with the new myAGRO platform. Ongoing complications involving the Land Registry, ELGA contributions, and connected subsidies, combined with a lack of clear instructions, have hindered the process. As of early this week, only approximately 4,000 declarations had been finalized out of a total of 600,000, representing a completion rate of less than 1%.

Agricultural experts and consultants report persistent communication issues with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), noting that platform updates and corrections are often implemented without immediate guidance for users. Projections suggest that finalized applications may struggle to exceed 6,000 by September 15.
