e-EFKA announces November 2026 pension payment schedule

The Greek social security organization, e-EFKA, has announced the payment schedule for November 2026 pensions. Due to the public holiday on October 28, payments are expected to arrive earlier than usual.

Payments are divided into two phases based on the distinction between non-salaried and salaried retirees. On Monday, October 26, 2026, payments will be made to non-salaried retirees (formerly OAEE, OGA, and ETAA), new retirees under Law 4387/2016, and all private sector supplementary pensions. Funds may be available at ATMs as early as the evening of Friday, October 23.

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, payments will be issued to salaried retirees from former funds (such as IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE, and DEH), other integrated funds (NAT, ETAT, etc.), and public sector retirees. Because of the holiday, these funds are expected to appear in accounts starting the afternoon of Tuesday, October 27.

Additionally, approximately 2.3 million pensioners are eligible for a 400 euro bonus, often referred to as the ‘13th national pension’. This year, income and property restrictions have been abolished, expanding eligibility. The bonus is primarily determined by age—requiring pensioners to have reached 65 by the end of 2025, though widowhood pensions may qualify at age 60—and the status of their pension as of September 2026. The payment is expected to be processed automatically by the end of November.
