Greece prepares Tatoi Estate reopening and school infrastructure upgrades

The Tatoi Estate in Vryompi is scheduled to open to the public this December, serving as a major new cultural and recreational hub in Attica. Spanning 42,000 acres, the restoration project is being funded by over 70 million euros from national and European resources. Key facilities ready for handover include the Palace, the Royal Carriage Museum, and the Museum of Agricultural Production.

To ensure security, the Ministry of Culture has initiated a tender for a 24-month security contract valued at 3.2 million euros. The surveillance system will utilize highly trained personnel, extensive CCTV networks, and drone patrols to protect the site and its visitors.

In a separate regional visit, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the 4th Junior High School in Aspropyrgos. The new bioclimatic facility, completed under the ‘Antonis Tritis’ program, replaces previous container-based classrooms. The Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to utilizing available financial tools to upgrade school infrastructure and create new educational facilities across Greece.
