Greece Recovery and Resilience Facility drives €8 billion in real estate investment

The loan component of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) has mobilized over €50 billion in total investments in Greece. Of this amount, €1 billion is directed toward real estate companies, while total investments in the broader real estate sector have reached €8 billion, excluding the hotel industry.

During the Prodexpo 2026 event, officials highlighted significant structural reforms funded by the Facility. These include the digitization of public records, with a goal to digitize one billion pages of public documents, and the progress of land registry mapping, which has reached 99% completion.

Additionally, the Hellenic Development Bank announced details regarding the new 'Spiti mou III' housing program, noting that beneficiaries will benefit from an extended timeframe to search for and purchase homes. Other reforms include the development of spatial plans for tourism and industry, as well as the promotion of local urban planning across the country.
