Greece remains a popular destination for celebrity summer homes

Various celebrities have reportedly purchased homes in Greece due to their affinity for the Greek summer. Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have owned a 450-square-meter stone villa on a 24-acre estate in Antiparos since 2004. Hanks has expressed a deep connection to the country and its culture, with reports also suggesting the couple acquired a property in Patmos in 2018.

Other celebrities, such as Goldie Hawn, are noted for frequently spending their summer holidays on the island of Skiathos.
