Greece school reopening dates announced

Teachers in Greece are scheduled to return to schools on Tuesday, September 1, to begin organizational and educational preparations for the upcoming academic year. This period includes faculty meetings, scheduling, and infrastructure preparation.

Students in kindergartens, primary, middle, and high schools are set to return on Friday, September 11. The first day will feature traditional blessings, the distribution of school textbooks to over one million students, and briefings regarding class schedules and school operations.
