Greece's Agricultural Account Disburses Second Large-Family Benefit Payment

On Friday, 7 August, the Organisation of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) carried out the second disbursement of the Agricultural Account’s large‑family cash aid. A total of €76,300 was transferred to 79 families with three children and 21 families with four or more children, as well as to single‑parent beneficiaries meeting the same criteria. Each third‑child beneficiary received €700, while each multiple‑child beneficiary received €1,000, with the amounts credited to the bank accounts (IBAN) supplied in their applications.

Since the start of 2026, the programme has paid €1,690,900 to 1,737 third‑child and 475 multiple‑child families or single parents, confirming the continued support of the Agricultural Account for large families in Greece.
