Greek DYPΑ releases temporary selection tables for 28 public daycare centers

On Tuesday 21 July 2027 the Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (ΔΥΠΑ) posted provisional evaluation and selection tables on its website for infants and toddlers to be admitted to the 28 public daycare stations for the 2026‑2027 school year. The tables define three categories of placement – Selected, Substitute and Rejected – and the admission is free of charge. Parents may lodge objections through the kidcare.dypa.gov.gr app within three days (from 21 July 18:00 until 23 July 23:55), providing supporting documentation as required.

The daycare stations operate from 1 September to 31 July, Monday‑Friday, 06:45‑16:00, and accept children aged six months to four years. Selection criteria are based on economic and social factors. The program is co‑financed by the European Social Fund and national resources under the 2021‑2027 ESFA regional development agreement, aiming to promote early‑childhood education and inclusive access for children with disabilities.
