Greece’s university admissions deadline closes for 2026 applicants

The Greek Ministry of Education announced that the deadline for submitting the electronic application (MICHANOGRAFIKO) and the parallel application for admission to higher education institutions and public vocational schools ends at 23:59 on Thursday, 16 July 2026. Prospective students must use the website https://michanografiko.it.minedu.gov.gr with their personal security password, and are advised to print or save the finalized application, which receives an automatic protocol number.

After the deadline, the Ministry will begin verifying and processing applicants’ preferences. The announcement of admission scores is expected in the last ten days of July, with the Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, indicating a possible release window between 23 and 28 July 2026.
