Greek university admissions deadline set for July 16, 2026
The Ministry of Education has kept the online Michanografiko platform open until 23:59 GMT on Thursday 16 July 2026 for the submission of the primary university admission form and the parallel form for public SAEC (formerly I.E.K.). After the deadline, 89 032 candidates will await the announcement of the admission bases for the 2026‑2027 academic year, competing for 68 788 available university places.
The bases are scheduled to be published in the last ten days of July. Current projections indicate a slight decline in the Humanities and Economics‑Computer Science fields, while the Science and Health fields are expected to see modest increases. Candidates are advised to follow the 10 + 1 step guide, which covers platform access, password recovery, temporary editing, the finalization deadline, and the importance of ranking preferences correctly. No changes to submitted forms will be possible after the July 16 deadline.
