Greek 2026 University Entrance Exams Schedule and Score Trends
The Greek Ministry of Education announced the timetable for the 2026 university entrance examinations for Greeks living abroad. General education subjects will be tested from 8 to 11 September, while special and music subjects are scheduled for 12 to 21 September. All exams begin at 16:00, and candidates must be present at least 30 minutes before the start; each test lasts three hours.
Educational analysts note that biology is expected to be the most difficult subject, potentially lowering entry scores for medical schools. Physics is considered more accessible, which may temper the decline in some technical fields. Preliminary assessments predict reduced cutoffs for medicine, law, economics and engineering programmes, while humanities fields remain relatively stable. These forecasts are provisional pending the official grading and publication of results by the Ministry of Education.
