Greek and Cypriot Education Ministries Set Exam Results Date, Expand Summer Schools

The Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports announced that the grading of the written portions of the 2026 national examinations is nearing completion. The ministry plans to release the results for General and Vocational High School candidates on Thursday, 25 June 2026, which will trigger the next stage of university admissions.

In Cyprus, Education, Sport and Youth Minister Athina Michaelidou announced a major expansion of summer schools. Starting Monday, 64 general summer schools will welcome 8,700 children and seven special summer schools will admit 500 children. Michaelidou said, “As a government we have a position to support children and families as a steady responsibility. Summer schools provide a safe, creative and quality environment during the summer months and help working parents.” The expansion is part of the government’s broader effort to strengthen the education system and support families.
