Greek childcare voucher program sets result dates and appeal window

The Greek government’s ESPA 2026‑2027 childcare voucher scheme for nurseries, preschool centres and special‑needs facilities completed its online application phase on 5 August 2026. The National Organization for Early Childhood Education and Care (EETAA) will verify the submissions and publish the provisional allocation tables on 10 August. Parents can file objections between 11 and 13 August, after which the final list of voucher recipients is expected on 17 August.

The programme, funded with a budget of €393.56 million, covers the period from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027 and targets working or unemployed mothers, self‑employed parents, fathers with sole custody, foster parents and legal guardians. Applicants must ensure correct use of their Taxisnet credentials, submit complete tax documentation and accurately report family income, unemployment status, disability, number of dependents and other eligibility criteria to avoid loss of points or rejection.
