Greek communities celebrate July with traditional festivals and charity concerts

On July 1, the Cultural and Beautification Association of Karabostamos on the island of Ikaria organized a traditional feast for the celebration of the Saints Anargyri, featuring live music by the band “Gis Madiam” and a morning liturgy in the local church.

A few days later, on July 6, a charity concert titled “With Greece Karavokiri” took place at Plaaz Aretsous in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. The event featured singer Dimitris Basi together with guest performers and the youth choir of the Metropolis of New Crete and Kalamaria, with proceeds supporting local charitable foundations.
