Greek consumer watchdog fines online retailer PCRAMA €150,000 for non‑delivery and misleading practices
The Independent Authority for Market and Consumer Protection (AEKAP) imposed a €150,000 fine on PCRAMA ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ ΙΚΕ, the operator of the e‑shop pcrama.gr, following a wave of consumer complaints. The inspection uncovered serious breaches of consumer law, including failure to ship prepaid orders, refusal to refund customers when orders could not be fulfilled, and deceptive presentation of product availability and delivery times. In addition to the monetary penalty, AEKAP temporarily blocked access to the website to halt further transactions.
The sanction follows earlier administrative penalties imposed on the same company for similar violations, prompting the authority to adopt a stricter stance against repeat offenders in the Greek digital marketplace.
