Greek cultural associations announce summer 2026 event schedules

Various cultural associations in Greece have announced schedules for summer 2026 festivities aimed at preserving local traditions and heritage.

In Skepasto, the Skepasto Cultural Association will host a three-day program at the courtyard of the Holy Church of Saint Andrew. The events include a book presentation by Panagiotis Bouralas titled "Creations of Life on the Vouraikos Plateau" on August 10, a traditional dance festival on August 11, and creative workshops for children on August 12.

On the island of Skopelos, the Glossa Cultural and Recreational Association has organized a four-day series of events. The schedule includes a "Moonlight Decades" party on August 8, followed by a musical performance titled "Uprooted Years – Traveling Winds" on August 10 featuring Nektarios Rigas and Despoina Athanasiou. On August 11, the traditional music band Bratimia will perform, and the festivities will conclude on August 22 with a performance by The Aladala Band at Loutraki beach.
