Greek Development Ministry allocates €30 million to ThessINTEC technology park

Minister Takis Theodorikakos of the Greek Ministry of Development has approved the inclusion of the fourth‑generation technology park ThessINTEC in the sectoral Development Programme 2026‑2030. The decision secures public funding of €30,333,282.64 from the National Development Program and places the project in the priority axis “development of new high‑value‑added sectors.”

The funding follows the earlier withdrawal of a decision to finance the park via the Recovery Fund, ensuring continuity of resources for the construction of basic infrastructure, flood‑protection works, utility networks and the first building facilities in the municipality of Thermaki. ThessINTEC will cover 760 hectares and, when fully operational, is projected to attract around €500 million of investment and generate more than 7,000 jobs.
