Greek drama series “Our Seas Have Parted” launches on ERT

The eight‑episode period drama “Our Seas Have Parted”, based on Ifigeneia Tekou’s novel, will debut on the streaming platform ERTFLIX before airing on the public channel ERT1. Set in 1937 Italian‑occupied Smyrna, the story follows sisters Paraskeyoula and Elpida as they flee to Constantinople and later Alexandria, confronting love, loss and the upheavals of the 20th century, from the rise of the Nazis to the Septembrine events. The series was written by Sofia Sotiriou, directed by Christos Dimas and features a cast that includes Kateryna Lechou, Leonida Kakouri, Nefeli Kouri, Athena Limbatsi, Giannis Koukourakis, Vangelis Stratigakos, Dimitra Matsouka and Smaragda Smirnaiou. The title song is performed by Eleni Tsaligopoulou with music by Giorgos Bousounis.
