Greece announces 95 specialties for Public SAEK vocational schools
The Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports has announced the professional specialties for the 2026-2027 academic year at Public Higher Vocational Training Schools (SAEK). Across the country, 95 specialties and 860 departments will operate within 116 Public SAEK and 17 regional branches.
The selection of these specialties was designed to meet labor market needs, economic investment initiatives, and regional development priorities, with specific attention given to island and border regions. All programs will be implemented using new training guides to modernize vocational education.
Applications for enrollment are scheduled to take place in September via an electronic platform. Training is free of charge for students, and those studying in a city other than their permanent residence may be eligible for housing allowances if they meet specific requirements.
