Greek Employment Service launches 150,000 book vouchers for workers and jobseekers

The Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) opened an online portal for applications until 23:59 on 15 July 2026. Applicants can request a digital book‑voucher worth €25, with a total of 150,000 vouchers scheduled for issuance, representing a budget of €3.75 million.

Eligible beneficiaries include private‑sector employees, individuals insured under e‑EFKA, and registered unemployed persons who meet income and unemployment‑duration criteria. Each voucher provides a 10 % discount on books purchased from participating bookstores and publishers. The programme will run from 1 September to 31 December 2026 and aims to promote intellectual development of the workforce while supporting the domestic book‑trade sector.
