Greek EPAL students resume Panhellenic exams for specialty subjects
On June 9 and June 11 2026, Greek vocational‑school (EPAL) candidates sat for the specialty subjects of the 2026 Panhellenic examinations. The June 9 session covered Hygiene, Naval Law, International Shipping Regulations, Principles of Organization and Management, and Elements of Machines, while the June 11 session tested Electrical Machines, Modern Agricultural Enterprises, Nautical II and Naval Machines.
The results of these subjects carry heavy weight in the final scores that determine admission to higher‑education programmes for thousands of students, as directed by the Ministry of Education. The exam authority (OEF) noted that the questions were generally well‑prepared, with a moderate increase in difficulty compared with previous years.
