Greece launches €150 million Agrodietrofi subsidy scheme for farms
From 3 August 2026 the Greek government opened electronic applications for the second round of the “Agrodietrofi” scheme under the Development Law. The programme allocates €150 million in state support for investments in primary agriculture, food processing, fisheries and aquaculture. Half of the funding (€75 million) is provided as direct grants or leasing subsidies, while the other half is offered as tax exemptions for approved projects.
Eligible investments include new machinery, modernisation of production equipment, quality‑control systems, certification, bio‑product development and related intangible costs such as training and hiring. Applications must be submitted through the online platform and can be filed until 30 November 2026.
In parallel, the Agency for Agricultural Development and Food (AADE) published a decree in the Government Gazette establishing the Integrated Management and Control System (OSDE) for 2026. All subsidy requests must now be filed digitally via the myAGRO portal, creating a unified electronic file for each beneficiary and enabling electronic cross‑checking of data.
