Greek government reopens myBusinessSupport platform for Thessaly flood aid

The Greek Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Rural Development, has reopened the online platform myBusinessSupport to accept applications for the second phase of the second round of financial assistance to businesses affected by the September 2023 Daniel floods in the Thessaly region. The platform, supported technically by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), will remain open until 20 July 2026.

Eligibility covers five sub‑schemes: (a) businesses (excluding agricultural holdings) located in the municipalities of Palama and Farkadona; (b) tourism‑related enterprises in flood‑impacted areas; (c) passenger‑transport operators facing unsafe access; (d) accommodation providers; and (e) fishing and fish‑marketing firms on the coastal front. Applicants must have expressed interest in the first phase (completed in December 2025) and must not have already received aid for applications submitted between 13 August and 27 September 2024. The grant amount corresponds to a portion of the reduction in the applicant’s turnover, respecting the EU’s limits for low‑significance aid.
