Greek Minister Sofia Zacharaki meets New Democracy Program Secretariat

The Program Secretariat of the New Democracy party met with the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Sofia Zacharaki, to discuss educational priorities across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.

Key topics included the strengthening of public schooling and the modernization of educational infrastructure. The Minister highlighted renovation programs, such as the ‘Marietta Giannakou’ initiative, and the integration of modern technology into classrooms, including interactive boards, robotics sets, and updated science laboratory equipment.

Discussions also focused on higher education, specifically increasing the international presence of Greek universities through foreign-language postgraduate programs and fostering academic collaborations with distinguished institutions abroad.
