Greek National Swimming Championships Yield Multiple Medals and New Records

During the third day of the Greek National Swimming Championships at OAKA, Greek swimmers captured two silver and two bronze medals, achieved four fourth‑place finishes, and secured several top‑ten results across age categories. Individual highlights included Konstantina Gorgkou’s silver in the 800 m free (09:34.86) and the 4 × 100 m relay (04:19.63), as well as bronze performances by Vasiliki Zafeiropoulou (800 m free, 09:40.93) and Andreas Kotsavitis (50 m breaststroke, 26.83).

On the second day, the meet saw two national records broken. Zisis Rizos set a new record of 56.98 s in the 100 m butterfly for the boys’ A category, and the team of Maximos Toris led a 4 × 200 m freestyle team to a record time of 2:00.18. The championships featured a full slate of winners across all age groups, with notable performances such as Athanasios Raptis (200 m free, 1:55.51) and Basilios Chara (200 m free, 1:50.02). The event was overseen by federation officials, including President Kyriakos Giannopoulos and Vice‑President Alexia Marini.
