Greek National Theatre launches summer tour with Alkestis and Servant of Two Masters

The National Theatre of Greece is staging a summer tour of two classic productions. "Alkestis" by Euripides, directed by Dimitris Karantzas, will open at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus on 17‑18 July as part of the Athens‑Epidaurus Festival, then travel to venues in Greece and Cyprus, including the Ancient Theatres of Brauron, Dodona, Philippi, Kourion and others.

The comedy "The Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Giannis Kakleas and starring Vasilis Charalampopoulos, will be performed on 19 July at the Alkazar Garden Theatre in Larissa and will continue to other locations across Greece during the summer season.

Both productions feature modern staging, extensive ensembles, and are promoted through advance ticket sales.
