Greek Navy Calls Conscripts for 2026 G’/ESSO Enlistment

The General Staff of the Navy announced that conscripts are to be enlisted under the 2026 G’/ESSO scheme. Eligible individuals include: • Class of 2029 – born 1 January to 15 May 2008; • Class of 2028 – born in 2007; • Those born 1982‑2006 who have a full or reduced military service obligation; • Those born 1982‑2007 whose enlistment was postponed for health reasons.

Applicants must report on 1 September 2026 at the KEN Aulona (KETTH) centre, except those with health‑related postponements who must appear at the Naval Hospital in Piraeus on 31 August 2026. Required documentation includes tax ID, social security number, bank IBAN for salary payments, and a negative rapid SARS‑CoV‑2 antigen test taken within 48 hours of the appointment. Enlistment notices will be delivered electronically via the taxisnet portal; conscripts without a taxisnet code must obtain one through the official AADE website.
