Greek OPEKA to Disburse €1.6 M to Triple and Multiple‑Child Families

The Organisation for Social Welfare Payments and Solidarity (OPEKA) confirmed that the application period for the Agricultural Household Account (LAE‑OPEKA) benefits to triple‑child and multiple‑child families closed on 22 July 2026. Because the number of applications did not exceed the allocated slots, no electronic lottery was required and all qualifying requests were accepted.

The first payment is scheduled for 28 July 2026, totaling €1,614,600. It will be paid to 1,658 triple‑child mothers (or fathers) at €700 each and 454 multiple‑child parents at €1,000 each. The programme’s overall budget for 2026 is €2,210,000, reaffirming government support for larger families under the Agricultural Household Account scheme.
