Greek OSDE 2026 agricultural subsidy rollout delayed

The launch of the 2026 Online System for the Collection of Agricultural Claims (OSDE) in Greece remains pending. Initial estimates had the platform opening in June, later shifted to July 15, but technical work by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is still ongoing.

Stakeholders, including the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTE) and the National Association of Agricultural Advisory Bodies (PEFASY), argue that the system should only go live when fully functional to avoid early filing problems. They cite numerous structural, functional and regulatory gaps identified during recent tests.

Farmers have already reported lengthy approval processes for new‑farmer subsidies, sometimes extending beyond a year, which hampers investment and growth in the sector. The European Commission has published a toolkit to help applicants prepare robust business plans for loan applications, but the pending OSDE delays continue to affect cash‑flow and planning for Greek agribusinesses.
